My naturalist education began early in my teens through wilderness schooling and camps In the Blueridge and the piedmont of NC. I’m a lifelong adventurer with a passion for wildlife, knowledge and the outdoors.
Throughout my childhood and early adult life one of my passions was getting my friends out doing the adventurous things i LOVE to do! from Hiking, camping, climbing, Kayaking, Surfing, Paddleboarding. anyway to get into nature, I got to share it.
I’ve been guiding here in Ketchikan for 5 years now. Leading Rain Forest Hiking And Ocean Kayaking Tours. When you go on a tour with me its like a hike with my friends. We will talk about whatever new the forest has to offer, whatever critter crosses our path big or small, more than a few jokes, might even catch a quote from an author or philosopher. It has been a gift to share the beauty of Ketchikan and these experiences with my guests from ALL OVER THE WORLD!
